Joy is what happens
When everything wakes up.

It’s like walking past a cardboard Potemkin village –
That’s asleep –

And then, suddenly, something catches our eye –
Perhaps a sunbeam striking a metal surface –
And, from that point on, many other things start lighting up

When that happens, everything inside us starts coming alive –
And a sweet heat begins getting sweeter –

Finally, beauty enters the room –
And that person we’ve always hoped to meet –
Who we’ve already decided to spend our life with –
She or he’s called “Love” –

After that, “Heaven” makes its own appearance–
And when our fingertips touch –
Magic holiness commences.

Everyone desires for this to happen – at least once in their lives –
When the cardboard world starts coming alive
And the most beautiful person on earth has stepped through that door
And warmly embraced us!
